The Saint Etienne lock-up is a near mythical thing. Crammed with our old master tapes, files of boring accounts, posters, equipment we no longer use for live shows and tons of other things we’ve accumulated along the way. Every now and again our manager Martin goes in and pulls out a box saying “we should sell these, people might want them.”

On a recent trip Martin found 65 unsold copies of our fan club offering from Christmas 2018.. 'Asleep At The Wheels Of Steel’. These were likely overstocks held back incase of orders going astray from our original sale but now it’s time to release them into the wild.

‘Asleep..’ Was originally released as a fan club CD in 2001 and both it and the 2018 vinyl issue have become sought after collectors items. If you missed buying a vinyl copy 6 years ago now's your very last chance.

Each LP is pressed on black vinyl and comes with a digital download card and printed inner sleeve.
These were shrink-wrapped when made and appear as “new old stock”.

We will offer these at the same moment as pre-orders for “The Night” which is 5pm GMT on November 20th 2024. As an added bonus we’ll throw in a free CD of “Deep Into The Night” but only for stand alone orders of ‘Asleep At The Wheels Of Steel’ as we can only place one bonus CD into each package leaving the warehouse.
